Children have dreams and ambitions to be the greatest. Marc Sutton Z’’L, like most nine
year olds had the dream of playing a professional sport. Marc had the DNA of a champion player - ambition, dedication, loyalty, teamwork, skill but most important, he had heart. In addition, Marc
particularly tackled the skill of friendship. He saw the best in people regardless of age or gender, keeping a positive and cheerful attitude. He touched the hearts of his family and friends as well
as everyone who came in contact with him. Children both older and younger knew him and loved him.
Marc was taken from us at a very tender age. We all have memories of Marc running on the field, playing and laughing with his friends. These memories will stay with us forever. Our children who had
the honor of knowing him will carry his legacy and love for sports with them always. The loss of Marc Sutton Z’’L will forever scar our hearts.
A fund has been created to keep Marc’s memory everlasting. The Marc Sutton Z”L Player For
Life Fund will provide scholarships to less fortunate children so they can have the opportunity to participate in sports programs such as Flag Football and Basketball at the Michael-Ann Russell
Jewish Community Center. To start this wonderful fund, all donations that have been previously collected will be donated towards this fund. All future donations towards this tax-deductible project
should be made to the MAR-JCC with the stipulation that it will be earmarked for the “Marc Sutton Player For Life Fund”.
Marc participated in the MAR-JCC programs with enthusiasm and happiness. He truly had the heart of a champion. We want to recognize what this young boy has brought to our lives by bringing smiles to
less fortunate children in our community. We hope that we can count on your support in this wonderful program.
